Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting our pest control technicians in delivering timely and effective solutions. Join our client's team on a part-time basis. This position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance.

Location; San Jose

Hours 20-25 hours a week (Flexible schedule)

Pay Rate: $20-25/h

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Schedule pest control services and appointments for clients, ensuring efficient utilization of technician schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service appointments in our database.
  • Coordinate with pest control technicians to ensure timely arrival at customer locations and provide necessary support and information.
  • Educate customers on our pest control services, products, and preventive measures to promote long-term pest management solutions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided and address any additional needs or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall customer service experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a similar industry such as pest control, home services, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to go above and beyond to assist customers.
  • Knowledge of common household pests, pest control methods, and products is desirable but not required.
