Job Description

Seeking an Underwriter/Loan Officer for an immediate opening at a bank in the Pasadena, CA area. Must have 10+ years experience originating and underwriting commercial loans, with business development success.

Salary: $80K-100K+

DUTIES

• Evaluate loan applications, underwrite loans, and establish customer connections.
• Address credit needs, validate collateral valuations, and collaborate on loan proposals.
• Assist in business planning, manage client relationships/portfolios, and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor accounts for issues, promote Bank products, and train junior staff.
• Adhere to regulatory policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in originating and underwriting commercial loans, with business development success REQUIRED
• Skills/Ability: Strong financial analysis, business development, PC proficiency, excellent communication. Bilingual (English/Mandarin) preferred.
