Looking to hire for Data Entry Admin in the Orange County area. Please see schedule details!

  • Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (10am - 7pm), Saturday (8am - 5pm)
  • Pay Rate: $22/hr
  • Location: Fullerton

General Summary:
Environmental Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accurate flow of data in a timely manner.

Assisting the Project Manager with job coordinationm adminstrative tasks, communications with vendors and meeting deadlines. Will learn the basics of Asbestos, Lead, and Mold and will work closely with the Industrial Hygienist, Project Manager, and Department Manager to prepare reports and invoicing projects. Will also assist the Department Manager with Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews.


Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry of laboratory test results and chain of custody received from laboratories and/or field industrial hygienists
  • Prepare AutoCAD of job sites sketches if needed
  • Communicating and working with field industrial hygienists to complete projects
  • Interpreting analytical results and preparing reports for review and invoice assignment via QuickBooks
  • Sending results to appropriate parties via email (instructions on the work order)
  • Working with vendors to make sure all lab samples are submitted properly
  • Monitor the lab to ensure the lab samples are sent back within the proper time frame
  • Provide world class phone support to our customers/clients
  • E-mail clients accurate information pertaining to the assignment
  • Keeping up with emails to ensure proper deadlines are met
  • Filing and maintaining technician paperwork digitally and if needed, physically
  • Maintaining, managing, and monitoring status of projects and whereabouts of samples
  • Communicating with the Field Manager regarding projects that need further review
  • Following up with laboratories for results and/or revisions as needed
  • Checking laboratory results to ensure data are correct
  • Assisting Marketing/Sales Representative with additional information needed to follow-up on projects as needed
  • Assisting Project Managers administrative tasks when required
  • Answering incoming telephone calls from clients and internal staff
  • Constantly monitoring and communication through e-mail (approximately 400+ emails a day)
  • Follow protocols and work instructions designated by the company


Skills and experience:

  • Have prior experience interpreting data and analyzing results
  • Must know how to use Windows 7, MS Office Suite and Internet
  • Must know how to utilize software such as Outlook and Mozilla Firefox on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Work productively with minimal supervision, such as following up on pending items on projects and corresponding with clients without direction
  • Meeting Project deadlines


Requirements:

  • High school Diploma
  • Must have excellent customer service and proper office etiquette
  • Prior knowledge of asbestos, lead, mold, or water damage
  • Background in testing, removal/remediation and/or analysis aspect trade is preferred
  • Interpreting or preparing environmental laboratory reports is preferred
  • Prioritize assignments, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • QuickBooks -must know how to prepare an invoice
  • Work in flexible hours, must be available to work nights and weekends if needed
  • Work overtime if needed to complete all and close out all projects for the day
  • Must have a dependable source of transportation
