Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Seek out new business opportunities and foster revenue-generating relationships with both current and prospective clients, primarily in the Twin Cities area.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities, leveraging company-provided client lists while also exploring additional avenues independently. Guidance from the sales manager is available.
  • Utilize various methods such as in-person meetings, telemarketing, email, and referrals to identify and secure new clients, emphasizing the importance of relationships, quality service, and competitive pricing.
  • Provide ongoing support and public relations for existing clients.
  • Once a new client is onboarded, maintain long-term relationships by addressing their needs and concerns, while also proactively defending against competitors. Day-to-day account management is handled by company personnel.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in servicing acquired accounts, leading to potential assignment of additional client portfolios
  • Generate leads, assess client requirements, and schedule appointments.
  • Cultivate strong client rapport and conduct follow-ups as necessary.
  • Develop innovative strategies to promote the value-driven transportation solutions
  • Secure appointments with business owners through a blend of phone outreach, face-to-face engagement, networking, and collaboration with referral partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision.
  • Demonstrated phone prospecting/cold calling experience

Additional Info:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Location: Hybrid after training
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Pay: Base Salary + uncapped commission
