Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk 
Location: South County/St. Louis
Status: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Schedule: Mon -Fri 7 am to 3:30 pm

Summary: The Accounts Receivable Clerk  will assist in credit cards, reporting & communication, oversee volunteers, and assist other various Accounting projects. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter Employee Reimbursements
  • Enter journal entries for credit card prepayments
  • Enter journal entries for Expensify expenses
  • Import credit card transactions for 5 credit card statements
  • Follow the steps required to complete credit card import to final payment
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Reconcile bank statement for the Purchasing Checking Account
  • Train employees on their dashboards and approvals
  • Monitor, maintain and implement company domain & policies
  • Review, correct and approve reports submitted on a daily basis to forward on for final approval
  • Train employees and assist with any issues employees are having
  • Co-pilot for leadership team
  • Manage and complete expenses and reports for leader's card
  • Manage and complete recurring expenses and report on Exec/Leader's card that we use for recurring charges
  • Monthly Prepaids for company - Complete excel spreadsheet and enter the journal entries into Sage
  • Reconcile employee reimbursement account
  • Assist with reports
  • Assist with company Prepaids, when needed
  • Assist with other account reconciliations
  • Monitor credit card statement balances throughout the month and make prepayments if necessary
  • Download credit card statements - create excel spreadsheet - match and code expenses - track down missing receipts from employees
  • Work with purchase requisitions from when they are turned in to obtain approval and maintain a digital copy as well as a hard copy for reference
  • Work with all directors and members of the Accounting for all campuses
  • Help with the Accounts Receivable position when needed
  • Assist Director of Accounting with special projects
  • Be open to cross training in other areas of accounting.

  • Must have basic accounting skills
  • Must thrive in a fast pace and independent work environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and at a high level to their leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able to learn other accounting software systems - Sage and Expensify experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
  • Work well under pressure
