Summary:

The expert hand Solder Operator will be part of a team of assembly operators and perform various electronics manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work with a complex PCB, work in a clean room environment, work independently and show initiative. We are a leader in high-reliability, rad hard and ruggedized power management solutions for space, military and aerospace, national security programs and other harsh environment applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Tweezers/small hand tools, microscope, solder iron, ability to use a respirator and solvent degreaser
  • Manual hand soldering, following assembly drawings
  • Perform under microscope, accurate, detailed level assembly work
  • Work with J-STD
  • Comprehend procedures/documentations/drawings
  • Follow procedures and drawings, light computer work
  • Other duties requested by the Supervisor or Manager.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • MFG experience in Space Hybrid/PCB production environment.
  • Working a clean room environment
  • Utilize software tools such as Expandable, Q-Pulse, MS Office, informational, and operational tasks.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Team player with interpersonal skills.
  • Three (3) or more years of hybrid assembly process.
  • Must have strong manual dexterity and be able to use small tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such Mr. Green, IPC J-STD-001, and MIL-STD-883.
  • Comprehend procedures/documentations/drawings.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Independent worker, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking

Job Qualifications:

  • Experienced with 3 or more years of Hybrid/ PCB assembly process
  • Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen.
  • Positive, "can do" approach
  • Must speak and read English

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001 Certified, IPC-610 certified a plus but not necessary
  • Knowledge of microelectronics
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Excellent dexterity skills
  • Professionalism
  • Must be a Team player
