Job Description

This position will function as the first point of contact for many of our prospects who are inquiring about an education with one of our colleges. This position will serve as an internal call center representative to contact new prospects, confirm their interest in our programs, confirm admissibility, collect additional information necessary to transfer the prospect to the appropriate resource to learn more about a future with one of our educational programs. The ideal candidate is intrinsically motivated to help or assist people improve their current situation, proactive and driven to exceed goals, internally competitive, empathetic to others, while being conversational and drawn to personal engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact inquiries via phone and verbally prequalify for admissibility and interest
  • Understand education program offerings, campus locations and admissibility standards
  • Work from activity queues in Dynamics CRM and document results
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly contact attempt quotas
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
  • Ability to listen, react and establish rapport quickly
  • Self-motivated and action oriented
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to organize and provide clerical functions such as typing
  • Knowledge of personal computer software applications including Word and Excel

Abilities

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
  • Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday
  • Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
