BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties include operating coating equipment and application of thin films coatings within accepted quality standards. Performs periodic maintenance and cleaning as required.
Operate both coating equipment simultaneously to produce coatings in accordance with the design recipe provided by Coating Manager.
Perform coating stripping using appropriate recipes and safe procedures.
Meet production schedules agreed upon with Coating Manager and communicate when schedules will not be met.
Communicate supply needs in advance.
Keep the coating room clean and in orderly fashion.
Provide quality products which meet all of the agreed upon customer specifications
and all coating run data.
Assure compliance with company policies and regulations
Maintain coating equipment in good working condition, including periodic maintenance.
Report any problems to Coating Manager.
Maintain complete records in coating logbook including Customer, coating specifications.
