Our Computer Accessories client located in Newark CA is currently seeking a Content Marketing Manager.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a B2B Content Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable content marketing machine that will engage and guide our target audience throughout the entire buying journey from awareness to consideration up to advocacy. You'll own the content calendar and be responsible for development of an array of short and long form content including, blog and social posts, videos, webinars, support articles. To succeed in the role you'll need to be skilled in the art of managing teams of freelance writers and designers as well as collaborating cross functionally with marketing, product and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Content strategy and processes
  • Develop a long term content strategy and win the mind share of our key audiences
  • Define scalable processes for content creation
  • Develop and manage a marketing editorial calendar  that supports a regular cadence of various types of content (e.g., blogs, white papers, ebooks, infographics, videos, product guides, social media etc.); that touches different stages of customer journey and aligns with demand generation product marketing, sales, and events priorities,
  • Identify content-driven opportunities to boost SEO performance, and collaborating with centralized SEO teams to implement recommendations
  • Work with the team to ensure that content is synced with larger processes and is promoted to maximum effect
  • Content development
  • Manage the individual elements on the content plan to timely completion
  • Identify, Lead and manage a team of contractors and vendors  for content creation and design to ensure smooth delivery and execution of content calendar
  • Be the brand steward and ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone, and optimized for user experience across all channels.
  • Identify Measure content effectiveness and adjust as necessary
Skills:
  • 5+ years of growth focused B2B content marketing experience
  • Experience in Education vertical (K-12 or Higher Ed) is a strong plus
  • Proven experience using content as a key lever across the customer journey and consideration funnel from awareness, through trial, purchase, and retention
  • Hands-on ability to create a wide range of B2B marketing assets; including but not limited to videos, white papers, webinars, booklets, infographics, mailers, blogs, and social content
  • Experience with SEO and content best practices for organic search and social
  • Experience managing teams of freelance writers, designers, and other content producers to execute on a content production roadmap.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Comfortable using attribution models and campaign reporting metrics that drive lead generation and retargeting opportunities
  • A self-starter with a strong get-it-done mindset. You don't need firm guidelines in place in order to get started. You are happy to put something down that everyone can work from.
  • A creative problem-solver. You should bring creative solutions to every problem and never see a challenge as insurmountable.
  • Strong project management skills - manage time and juggle different initiatives simultaneously
Education:
College degree preferred
