Job Description

The Supply Inventory Control Analyst will ensure parts availability to support service and accessory parts requirements. Responsible for attaining and driving improvements to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Purchase Orders, Fill Rate, Back Order lines, and inventory objectives; while operating within business constraints. This person may attend meetings  They will also be responsible for developing and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as training employees.

Planning and control of parts and accessories requires timely and accurate forecast preparation, ordering, and expediting techniques. In addition to constant coordination and communication with appropriate departments. These responsibilities have a direct impact on expenses (freight, warehousing), income (parts sales), and customer service (Fill Rate, Back Order lines), and therefore have an impact on company profitability


Forecasting and ordering parts and accessories using available tools to meet corporate KPIs (Purchase Orders, Fill Rate, Back Order lines, and inventory objectives).
* Review daily dealer backorder and port shortage reports and take appropriate action to resolve, including orders to minimize risk of buy backs. 
* Effectively communicate with Management  on business KPIs (Purchase Orders, Fill Rate, Back Order lines, and inventory objectives), current statuses, and issues and resolutions to provide better customer service. 
* Develop, review, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed. 
* Work closely with customers and vendors to support business and improve processes. 

MUST HAVE strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred or combination of education and related experience preferred
  • 2-4 yearsOperations - Inventory Control Specialist
  • Experience with inventory planning required
  • * Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • * Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines)
  • * Flexibility and responsiveness to changing circumstances
  • * Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Access or other SQL preferred
