Job Description

Our client in Wayne County is looking to add sharp Mortgage Loan Processors and Loan Closers to a dynamic team!


 


The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and evaluating all required documentation for loan processing by communicating with appropriate parties, obtaining the clear to close and scheduling closing dates. In this role, the Mortgage Loan Processor will act as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, sales, realtors, title companies, and all other parties involved in each transaction. The Mortgage Loan Processor will ensure that files meet investor guidelines, are complete, and comply with regulations and policies. The Mortgage Loan Processor will schedule loan closings and communicate closing information to borrowers, Sales, and vendors.


 


The Loan Closer will prepare preliminary closing disclosures and approved mortgage, HELOC, and fixed term loan documents for final closing. The Loan Closer will review closing disclosures for accuracy to ensure that closing details are accurate according to approval and file. The Loan Closer will ensure that Verbal Verification of Employment are date-compliant, that rate locks are not expired, and that home owner's insurance is paid at full or collected at close. The Loan Closers ultimate responsibility is to prepare closing packages, review for accuracy, provide closing instructions to the appropriate parties, handle all aspects of loan modifications, work with title companies, processing team members, and Sales team members to ensure smooth closings.


 


Qualifications Required:


1. High school diploma or equivalent.


2. 2 years of loan processing or loan closing experience.
