Job Description

Our client, located in Arlington, VA is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!!!

Pay: $50,000/yr

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections, to ensure equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime, while optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs, prioritize tasks, and proactively address issues to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance projects, coordinate equipment upgrades or replacements, and support overall operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Candidate must be able to function in an on-call capacity and have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift or move objects at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to handle constant change in a fast-paced environment and be able to deal with multiple people and various situations simultaneously
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Must have at least 4-6 years' experience in this field
• REAC knowledge and other regulatory inspections is a plus
