Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Legal Assistant specializing in compliance to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our compliance attorneys and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of legal and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Documentation: Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of compliance documents, including policies, procedures, and regulatory filings.
Regulatory Research: Conduct research on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and legal precedents to support compliance initiatives and decision-making.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor regulatory developments and changes, and prepare reports summarizing potential impacts on the organization.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, including correspondence, reports, and filings.Training Support: Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees, ensuring understanding of regulatory obligations.
Compliance Audits: Support compliance audits by gathering relevant documents, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and facilitating communication with auditors.
Risk Assessment: Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
Internal Compliance Controls: Collaborate with internal teams to implement and monitor compliance controls, policies, and procedures across the organization.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research on various compliance-related matters and provide summaries and recommendations to attorneys.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to compliance attorneys, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Previous experience (2+ years) in a legal assistant or compliance role, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills..
Certification in compliance or related field (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.
