This is an Assistant to the QC Manager in the lab at the Plant - 5:30 am to 2:30 pm schedule with flexibility to work until 6:30 pm- Monday - Friday

Temp to Hire $17.50 hourly- Overtime expected

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality assurance/Quality Control Assistant to join our team. As a QA/QC Assistant, you will play a critical role in our research, development, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) laboratory.

Responsibilities:

* Collecting samples from the production line and other sources as needed.

* Conducting various tests and experiments in the laboratory.

* Maintaining accurate records of all tests, experiments, and results.

* Preparing and analyzing retained samples for further research and development.

* Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.

* Contributing to a clean and organized work environment.

* Writing detailed reports on test results and providing recommendations for process improvement.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control role is a plus.

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and practices.

* Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
