Review the presented criteria to determine if the request for a prescription can be filled or not.
Accurately enter Prior Authorizations into the claims system to help ensure that the appropriate claims are being processed.
Enter accurate notes for pharmacists.
Provide clinical outcomes to both the member and the member's physician (within the client-specific turnaround times).
Help people get the prescription care they need.
Provide members and physicians with adequate reasons for why requests are approved or denied.
Pay and Schedule:
$16 an hour + overtime pay.
The schedule is broken down into the following:
Business hours: 7 am to 7 pm. Candidates should be flexible to work an 8-hour shift within these hours (shifts will be decided after training). Candidates must be okay with working weekends.
Training hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. There will be four weeks of classroom-based training, follow by two weeks of audits.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate's or higher preferred.
Independent worker, self-motivated, committed to learning and trusting the process.
Quality, attention to detail, focused and driven by metrics.
Strong computer background, experience with working and navigating between multiple computer applications and several screens at once.
Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (Microsoft Office applications, internet, company software, etc.)
