Job Description

We are hiring an Engineering Technician for a Custom Design Department in Santa Ana, CA!

Direct Hire Opportunity

Salary range $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually

Responsibilities:

• Analyze new custom job requisites from clients to determine cost and lead time for build
• Communicate with customer for design changes and function possibility
• Determine source for parts and materials
• Create schematics, BOM, machine and assembly drawings, labels, artwork, and instructions
• Use of manual mill, lathe, band saw, and drill press
• Communicate with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments as necessary

Qualifications:

• 5 Years of experience as an Engineering Technician or Junior Engineer
• Knowledge of plastics, metals, and adhesives
• Soldering and hand tools
• Analog audio knowledge and downloading programs into microprocessors
• Reading blueprints, schematics, and BOMs
• CNC machine lathe and mill
• Troubleshoot down to the component level
• AutoCAD and Syteline ideal
