Review and enter insurance information into the computer system, update claims records, and enter notes in the clients' system.
Review, edit and enter data into the clients' system.
Examine insurance records to ensure that the settlement amount is accurate.
Follow up with insurance carriers to ensure that payments are being recieved in a timely fashion.
Communicate with GAP provides in the status of files and to ensure payments are recieved in a timely manner. Perform a pre-gap and post-gap review to determine the accuracy of payments.
Submit and follow up for a supplemental claim (if needed).
Achieve department standards of accuracy and productivity.
Pay and Schedule:
$16.50 an hour.
Two schedules available (please pick on);
9:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
10:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.
One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equal combination of education and experience.
Proficient computer skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate between multiple systems.
Strong typing skills, including 10 Key.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong multi-tasking abilities.
