Job Description

We are seeking for a 1st shift- Tissue Proccesor for a medical manufacturer located in Irvine, TX.

Pay Rate: $19.00

Schedule: 4:30AM-1:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify portions of tissue that meet thickness and other specification requirements of various product components, using forceps and gauges

* Visually assess leaflets to select those that meet manufacturing requirements, using forceps

* Visually assess incoming pericardial tissue for obvious imperfections, using scalpels, forceps, scissors

* Operate die cut machine to produce individual leaflets

* Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions/process sheets and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records.

* Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.

* Perform data entry of routine testing or filling work orders in PDF

* Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or GED with 1 year experience required OR

* Associate's Degree in a related science field

* 1-2 years experience of previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred

Additional Skills:

* Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving, and relationship building skills.

* Team player and detail oriented.

* Good computer skills, including usage of MS Office excel, word and PDF documents required

* Moderate knowledge of laboratory or manufacturing process

* Moderate knowledge in mathematics, e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, decimals and percentage

* Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices supporting a medical device environment

* Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner

* Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision

* Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
