Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is looking for an R&D Electrical Technician for our client in Menlo Park! This is a temp to perm role, 100% onsite in Menlo Park, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4pm with a starting pay of $32-$49 an hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician to join our growing team. The electronics technician's responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electronics, reading work instructions, installing new equipment, and implementing electronic upgrades. You will run software, as well as set up hardware and use browser based apps to perform tests and run equipment.

• Collaborate with various teams including engineering, quality & supply chain across a wide variety of issues/corrective actions that are identified in production, field service, testing & inspection.
• Follow established procedures for the assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of production and R&D components.
• Execute timely corrective action to mitigate and contain quality issues while the production line is active, minimizing downtime.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions to perform duties.
• Follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) and other safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Three to five years electrical technician experience
• Demonstrated hands on ability to visually detect electrical defects/non-conformances of materials, determine solutions, and repair them in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using hand tools (drivers, saws, wire crimpers, etc.)
• Demonstrated technical computer system knowledge (office suites, Terminal/Command line, managing files, etc.)
• Vocational certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills demonstrated in a team environment

The Bay Area hourly wage for this role is $32-$49 + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA. The hourly wage will be adjusted based on the experience of the employee.
