Provide the Human Resources Generalist with administrative and clerical support.
Compile and update employee records (both soft and hard copies).
Assemble, prepare. and analyze data to submit employee data reports.
Enter and update employment and status change data to main employee information.
Provide secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; keeping work organized, answering the phone, relay messages, and maintain equipment and supplies.
Keep human resource information confidential as a means to maintain employee confidence and protect operations.
Follow organizational standards to maintain quality service.
Stay up to date on current labor laws.
Maintain an electronic filing system.
Coordinate special events (as needed).
$18.00-$20.00 an hour (depending on experience).
8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
High school diploma (or GED equivalent).
Previous experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or a relevant human resources/administrative position.
1+ years of experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Gives confidentiality a high priority.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
Self-directed, enjoys taking initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes, and follows-through on implementation.
Professional appearance with a courteous demeanor and upbeat/outgoing attitude.
