Leading the industry in business technical solutions, our West Houston client is searching for an Office Manager to join thier growing team. This position will report directly to the VP of Human Resrources and will be highly visible throughout the organization. The successful candidate will possess excellent communicaiton skills, strong organization skills and will be very detail oriented.

Qualifications:

  • Assocates degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of office managment experience
  • Organized, detail oriented, self-starter and motivated
  • Ability to mange bultiple projects and deadlines
  • Possess excellent communicaiton skills- verbal/written
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensative information
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities:

  • Manage building vendors and contractors
  • Verify and approve supply orders
  • Handle contract negotiation and renewals for various projects
  • Manage and maintain facilities budget and maintenance repair schedules
  • Interview, hire and supervise incoming receptionists
  • Coordinate conference rooms
  • Primary backup for the receptionist and executive assistant
  • Facilitate requests for office furniture, including office redesign or relocations
  • Manage building compliance standards including conducting fire drills
  • Assist with employee social event planning
  • Assist with drafting monthly newsletter
  • Maintain employee training records
  • Assist HR with weekly timesheet reporting
