JOB SUMMARY

Sanitation Technician will be responsible for meeting and maintaining the food safety standards for a Distribution Center. The Sanitation Tech will be responsible for the sanitizing procedures for food contact and nonfood contact surfaces.

$17 per hour

2nd shift and graveyard shift available (12am - 8:30am OR 7pm - 3:30am)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and apply appropriate sanitation responsibilities per Food Safety Standards
• Keep buildings, grounds and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors with brooms, scrubber machines, scrapers, mops, squeegees, or compressed air
• Maintain cleanliness of walls and doors using scrub brushes, scrapers, squeegees, hand towels, and pressure washers.
• Document and maintain sanitation logs
• Read and understand chemical labels
• Communicate issues to supervisors
• Perform other duties as required
