Location: South LA - 90007
Job Title: HR Associate
Remote or in Office: in office M-F
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30 (30 minute lunch break)
Parking Details: secure parking near building and will have Security escorts to and from car.

Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Salary: $26-$30/hr
Environment: will be joining team of 3 (HR Director, HR Generalist, and Payroll Specialist). Business Casual office

The HR Associate will serve as a plan administrator and liaison fostering a positive relationship between Accounting and Human Resources ensuring both HR and Finance goals are in alignment with employee budgeted allocations in all Human Resources Management systems/ software resources and tools.

The position will be an additional set of eyes in the HR department and assist in checks and balances with finalizing HR related reports to ensure accuracy of wages, rates, deductions, etc., as it is required to deal with numerical data on a daily basis. The HR Associate is responsible for have a working knowledge of tax and wage legislation, knowledgeable with all company contracts, employee allocations and standard financial procedure.

Consistent communication with accounting to fulfill all budgetary details with employee payroll records, including employee allocations per contracts, run reports requested, assist with audits.
Onboarding & Orientation: Provide timely support for the orientation and onboarding of new employees and participants to include working with the HR Generalist for admin support.
Offboarding: Support and assist all separations, whether voluntary or involuntary. Work with HR and Payroll in process to include communication of vacation if applicable and prepare the facilitation of exiting in Paylocity.
Plan Administrator: Manage employee data by providing up to date employee data into all HR management systems, such as Paylocity, Ease, and Principal.
Payroll Review: Review all payroll ensuring allocations, wages, and time is accurately captured.
Compensation Management: Assist in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.
Legal Compliance, Policy & Process Management, Employee Relations

Experience:
Minimum 2 years related experience in data analysis or error correction required.
Knowledge of payroll processing a plus
Reliable, flexible team player who works well with minimal supervision, who has a good work ethic, and an ability to set and maintain personal boundaries.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and to meet deadlines.
