Our client located in Oakland County, MI is seeking a Benefits Account Manager Assistant for a contract to hire opportunity. The Benefits Account Manager Assistant will be responsible for providing Benefits Customer Service to their client's employee base.
CALL CENTER BENEFITS ACCOUNT MANAGER ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
CALL CENTER BENEFITS ACCOUNT MANAGER ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS
- Responds to participant requests via telephone, mail, chat or email (benefit and/or claim issues).
- Follows client procedures and guidelines.
- Processes life insurance claims.
- Coordinates ACH/Direct Bill functions for premium payments where required.
- Processes reimbursement transactions.
- Processes open enrollment and life change events.
- Processes pending dependents and opt-outs.
- Process output from vendor and audit feeds.
- Monitors, looks-up and handles bad addresses.
- Responds to QMCO's.
- Ensures policies and procedures are followed to secure internal and external working systems (i.e. passwords, etc.)
- Coordinates phone and e-mail coverage in the event of absences.
- Runs reports as requested/needed
- Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations surrounding HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, Medicare and IRS as it relates to benefit administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
