You will oversee a team of Day Support Professionals and Coordinators (22 employees), ensuring their development and performance align with our growth objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage team performance and growth, providing timely feedback and addressing training needs.
  • Conduct regular competency assessments and provide feedback on communication and work methods.
  • Support individuals during daily activities to demonstrate best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain the physical site and transportation services.
  • Monitor team productivity and address performance concerns with support from senior management.
  • Deliver departmental training and contribute to program outreach and growth.
  • Create meaningful group experiences for supported individuals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure billing practices are followed.
  • Act as a representative of the agency and uphold positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and participate in financial oversight and planning.

Additional Info:

  • Pay range: $70-75K
  • Schedule: Typically, 7am - 3pm M-F with the ability to work until 5pm some days (salaried at 40 hours per week)
  • Type: Direct hire w/ full benefits
  • Work Location: 3 to 6 months fully onsite during the training period; from there, this role is hybrid where you can work 2 days a week remote and 3 days onsite (St. Paul)

Requirements:

  • Completion of an AA/AS or BA/BS degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is required.
  • 4 to 6+ years of supervisory-level experience in a 245D-licensed program is necessary.
  • Familiarity with diverse human service practices, including group work and managing group dynamics, is vital.
