Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the assembly line. This individual will create shift schedules, delegate tasks, manage staff, and monitor the results of daily activities. This position is also responsible for ordering supplies, controlling stock, and reporting breakdown failures of any equipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

* Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in assigned production area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives

* Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

* Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, sales forecast, and production ramp planning

* Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function

* Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

* Perform verification of production output according to specifications

* Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers

* Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

* Train new employees on how to use machinery and follow procedures safely

Education:

• 2+ years' experience working in a supervisory role

* High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; an additional degree in engineering or other relevant areas is a plus

COMPENSATION:

* Exempt position; Salary range: $66,560 - $85,000 annually
