Developer, Identity and Access Management (SailPoint)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented SailPoint developer to join the Enterprise Identity and Access Management department based in Newport Beach, CA.  This newly-formed team will lead efforts to implement and update IAM services for Pacific Life.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The SailPoint Developer is part of the team responsible for the design, installation, integration, deployment, and maintenance of the SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) product.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as the primary support of various technical platforms and tools used to provide IAM services, including IGA, PAM, and authentication (SSO/MFA).  
  • Develop SailPoint IIQ connectors for a wide variety of applications and repositories.
  • Work with vendor product support to open, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues as required
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and bug-related engineering efforts
  • Develop and execute technical test cases and test plans for SailPoint environments
REQUIRED FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years overall development experience
  • 3+ years with SQL and Java
  • 3+ years with AD and LDAP
  • 2+ years development experience with SailPoint IIQ with working knowledge of all phases (design, development, UAT) of implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ aggregation, workflows, tasks, rules and roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with integration using SailPoint APIs and database connections.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Services, SOAPXML, and REST
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
PREFERRED:
  • Experience with privileged access management (PAM) tools (CyberArk, Thycotic, etc.) strongly desired.
  • Experience with Automated testing tools, Azure DevOps or other development lifecycle apps, familiarity with the Agile methodology.
  • Experience with OATH, OpenID Connect, JSON, AWS
