Leading Commercial Property Management company in Newport Beach is adding an Assistant Property Manager to their team. This is an ON SITE role. This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Support to the Property Manager in running office buildings effectively and efficiently. Must be able to work on site in San Diego, Carlsbad and Newport Beach.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Property Manager
Manage tenant requests in a manner that will promote a positive experience
Manage organized and up to date tenant files
Manage of rent collections
Send tenant notices as needed
Manage vendors administrative files, service requests, preventative maintenance, and compliance of building systems
Miscellaneous duties
Maintain lease and property files
Track tenant and vendor insurance; request new or renewed certificates as required.
Answer phone
Other duties as needed
Perform property walks and report findings to Property Manager
Required Skills
2-3 years of proven work experience aa an Assistant Property Manager
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to work as a team in a fast paced environment
Qualifications and skills desired:
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field from an accredited institution required.
2+ years of operations/property management (retail) experience, preferably in the shopping center industry.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and customer service/tenant relations orientation.
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Property Management software.
