Essential Job Functions: 

Under the general direction and supervision of the Customer Service Manager works in the office Monday - Friday 7:45 am to 4:45 pm, assisting customers in person, by phone and by email.  Responds to requests for information, processes exemptions and performs data entry.  Review online and process deed records and other various recorded instruments conveying property ownership.  Update mailing addresses.  Research various resources to update ownership and mailing addresses.  Print maps and scans paper documents.  Maintains alpha and numeric files.  Receptionist duties as required.  Must meet minimum requirements for accuracy and productivity.   Must effectively execute duties in high stress situations while serving the public. Must recognize when information is confidential and safeguard confidential information.   Operate common office equipment.  Perform other duties as required. 

Must meet the following Qualification  requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Prefer 2 years of experience providing Customer Service in a stressful environment; both in person and on the phone.
Prefer 2 years of data entry experience in an office environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in practical mathematics and grammar
Accurate Data Entry skills equivalent to typing 40 wpm
Stable job history.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Spanish bilingual a plus


Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of the Texas Tax Code
Work experience in mortgage lending, property management or other related field

Essential Physical Demands:  Requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching and twisting upper body.  Must use hands for data entry for most of the work day, be able to see and read fine print and hear and speak both in person and by phone and lift up-to 25 pounds. 

Environment Factors:   Indoor activity with constant exposure to video display computer terminal, interface with the public.  Moderate stress levels are constant with occasional significant stress. Must meet standards for productivity and accuracy. Must be able to work in the office Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 4:45 pm.   Must be able to work overtime with little notice.
