Job Description

Quality Inspector of food products 2nd shift Braintree, MA Direct Hire

Pay: $21- $25.00 an hour

Hours: 2^nd shift- 2pm start- 1-2 hours of Overtime daily

This person is responsible for daily inspection and monitoring of the facility, personnel, operations, and products to ensure compliance with company and government sanitation and food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical and organoleptic inspections of fresh and frozen seafood ensuring products are produced to specifications.
• Maintain food safety and quality records for regulatory and company purposes.
• Inspect/monitor facility, production lines and personnel to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and GMP.
• Assist in the execution of company food safety programs. (BRC, USDC HACCP, FDA GMPs).

Requirements:

· Food related experience in any setting

· FDA or GMP experience preferred but not required

· Bilingual Spanish preferred

· Physical role with lifting up to 50 lbs.
