Job Description

Ultimate Staffing has partnered up with a medical facility, searching for a customer service focused Patient Services Representative. This position will handle a high volume of incoming calls including answering, screening and processing, in a dedicated call center.
 
Responsibilities

  • Answers, screens and processes a high volume of calls in a professional manner
  • Patient pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, and scheduling are completed per center standards
  • Medical record setup, maintenance, and discharge are completed per center guidelines in a timely manner
  • Coordinates and interprets multiple data sets required for efficient scheduling of office visits, diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Assists patients with requests, or coordinates the appropriate resource for a resolution
  • Maintain tactful, courteous and professional communications with customer and internal employees
 
 Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Call Center and/or telephone customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
