Call Center Representative-Healthcare

Job Description

A great healthcare company, with locations in Brockton and Dorchester, need some extra help in their customer service department. They are looking for good communication, reliability, and data entry experience. 

As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for successfully managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls. You will be working with clients/patients in order to resolve any issues or questions they may have- Acting as a liaison between the company and its customers. In addition, you will be responsible for evaluating all documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained for billing purposes.


Additional duties for this call center medical services role include:
 

  • Handling patients, referral sources, and administrative department inquires
     
  • Communicating with insurance companies and/or prior authorization requests
     
  • Entering patient information into a customer information system
     
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and assisting them with issues/concerns related to their health
     
  • Developing the knowledge of customer needs and trends to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
     
  • Becoming educated in qualifications of multiple insurances to ensure clean order intake

    We are looking for people with qualifications such as:
     
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good customer service skills or prior experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology 
  • Strong attention to detail with time management and decision-making skills but also described as someone with high energy and driven to be the best
  • Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center
  • Up to date immunizations with records
