Job Description

The Workday Program Training Consultant will be responsible for leading, researching, analyzing, consolidating and implementing consistent and standardized training on all Workday activities. This position will also be responsible for providing recommendations on materials, communications, and effective methods for training deployment to best reach a varying level of users of Workday to best support their initial and ongoing understanding of Workday.
 
At Varian here is what you would do:
*    Strategy and Execution of Learning Plans:   
*    Develop and execute an innovative and practical Workday training strategy and curriculum for a global audience 
*    Execute the strategy through a blend of in-person workshops, online seminars, digital learning, performance support tools, assessments, communications, and other approaches and resources
*    Organize, lead, and support delivery of HR, Manager, and Employee training
*    Source, propose, and manage resources that fit the curriculum
*    Research, evaluate, and leverage best practices of the industry and other organizations to expand the quality and accessibility of Workday training
*    Conduct needs analyses and work with stakeholders to uncover Workday learning opportunities or strengthen existing offerings
*    Prioritize and make trade-offs on where to focus Workday training based on business needs
*    Ensure learning strategies are effective by evaluating results, measuring impact and implementing course corrections
*    Collaboration:
*    Partner with stakeholders and work-stream leads in the planning, development, and execution of training
*    Work with a cross functional team to develop and promote Workday at Varian
*    Change Management:  
*    Support in assess organizational readiness for change, develop change management, and communications plans
*    Support the development and implementation of communications and stakeholder engagement activities
*    Collaborate to develop change management activities to measure readiness amongst employees (i.e. surveys, focus groups)
*    Communication: 
*    Keep stakeholders, including senior HR leaders, informed of results and progress 
*    Support and possibly develop and implement communications and stakeholder engagement activities
*     
*    Connection:
*    Incorporate the talent management processes and philosophies into all Workday offerings to maintain consistency in messaging
 
 
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
*    2+ years of experience with Workday,  certified Workday professional is a bonus.
*    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, professional development or equivalent experience 
*    2+ years of experience leading change 
*    Passion for getting stuff done
*    Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, result-driven, time-critical, rapidly changing environment with minimal daily oversight 
*    Able to collaborate wither internal and external partners and independently to deliver results 
*    Ability to work cross-functionally to identify, develop, and implement changes and improvements in Workday
*    Demonstrated success in the design, development and delivery of innovative programs and products
*    Proven track record of operationalizing, scaling and executing training plans across global locations
*    Excellent communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills 
*    Ability to communicate with all levels of management and external partners 
*    Project Management skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks / projects with minimal supervision 
*    Ability to travel
*    Strong organizational and Project Management skills 
*    Ability to quickly learn technology tools
*    Proficient with MS Office, working virtually
