Technical Service Manager
 
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a dynamic leader for our client, headquartered in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area.  This company is a large foodservice equipment manufacturer, specializing in refrigeration, ice makers, preparation, dehydration, and service equipment.  The Technical Service Manager will report directly to the Technical Service Director.  This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market leader in an interesting and highly visible position offering tremendous potential for career growth.
 
Successful candidates will have at least three years in a service manager position preferably within the food service industry. A degree in HVAC or experience in troubleshooting or installing commercial refrigeration units and commercial ice makers a plus.  Applicants should possess the following attributes:

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an efficient service department ensuring elite customer service.
  • Oversee the daily duties of remote HVAC technicians, customer service representatives, and a parts & returns clerk.
  • Control the parts department and maintain the correct level of parts stock, placing orders as needed.   
  • Receiving of all parts into the ERP system.
  • Provides technical assistance and service support for inquiries received.
  • Identify and trouble shoot field service problems.
  • Update warranty costs including reverse billing the relevant suppliers.
  • Maintain a record of all warranty issues including, but not limited to, reason for failure, cost of repair, and/or reason for return.
  • Authorize, analyze, and submit all warranty service invoices for payment.
  • Maintain accuracy of computerized parts lists and technical data sheets.
