HR Assistant (Contract 1-3 Months)

Pay: $24-$28/HR

Schedule: M-F // 8am to 5pm

100% in Office - MUST BE LOCATED IN DENVER, CO

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support the HR department in various administrative tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining employee records.
  2. Recruitment Support: Aid in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  3. Onboarding Assistance: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  4. Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries, documenting complaints, and supporting HR investigations as needed.
  5. Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollment processes, answering employee questions about benefits, and maintaining accurate records.
  6. Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and programs, including scheduling training sessions, preparing materials, and tracking attendance.
  7. HR Projects: Assist HR team with special projects and initiatives as assigned, such as policy updates, HRIS implementation, or employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual - English & Spanish is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a Human Resources department.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and recruitment platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • HR Certifications are a plus!
