Claims Coordinator
 
As a Claims Coordinator, you will be a part of a highly engaged and supportive team who is impacting a patient's ability to receive the highest quality orthodontic care. You will be an Insurance Detective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Coordinating insurance benefits when multiple plans exist
  • Managing communications with practice staff
  • Obtaining pre-authorizations
  • Verifying dental billing codes, document narratives and submit claims
  • Following up on denied claims and/or in cases when expected payments are outstanding
  • Posting insurance payments
  • Processing payment plan adjustments
  • Supporting patient collections
  • High School Diploma required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and solve poorly defined problems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Documents
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and active listening
  • Must exhibit empathy and compassion for patients.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, and show a sense of urgency
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Natural curiosity with a strong aptitude to learn quickly
  • Very strong technical aptitude
  • Experience with processing medical insurance claims and/or eligibility checks (orthodontic or dental claims management preferred) is a plus
  • Prior experience managing claims while working as a Front Desk Receptionist or Treatment Coordinator is a plus

This is a temp to hire position that pays $15 per hour.  Join a growing company with a progressive start-up environment.
 
An 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.  Walking distance to the light rail!

Job Requirements

High School Diploma required
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and solve poorly defined problems
