Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs routine testing within the department, as per established procedures, with minimal supervisory input.  Ensures testing is performed in a timely fashion
  • May assist departmental personnel in the performance of non-routine special studies.
  • Interacts effectively with other laboratory and inter-company personnel.  Requests additional direction when needed
  • Responsible for maintenance of current and accurate records of daily work.  Records data without relying on a specific framework.  May prepare brief data summaries and reports of test data
  • May generate inter-company memos using templates for areas such as sample request or to schedule studies
  • Provides input to supervisory personnel on procedures in areas of responsibility that need revision updating/review
  • Performs testing per schedule with minimal input required by supervisory personnel
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned depending on business needs and priority changes
  • Be part of a dynamic team environment where we also focus on employee engagement
Skills:
  • Experience in aseptic technique, familiar with blood born pathogen, personnel protection equipment (PPE), data managing system such as Smart Solve and LIMS

• AA/AS science degree preferred or 1-2 years of experience in medical devices field
