Job Description

Job Purpose: 
Provides administrative support for a department, project, or program that contributes to efficient office operations customer services, and program services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aids in coordinating project, program, or customer service activities
  • Assists with coordinating day-to-day activities with other departments
  • Data entry tasks using department-specific tracking programs or systems
  • Receives and directs incoming calls and visitors 
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes mail
  • Supports established department workflows in an administrative or clerical capacity
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of administrative, customer service, and problem solving experience
  • Ability to perform data entry and basic written communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide quality customer service 
Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Work involves sitting, occasionally walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Requires close visual acuity 
  • Normal office environment
  • Occasional travel

Job Requirements
