Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a client in the Frederick, Maryland area.  The starting salary is between $40,000 and $45,000, dependent upon experience.  The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for marketing coordinator activities defined within the Marketing Plan with the overall goal of generating measurable, viable leads and, ultimately, pre-construction and construction sales opportunities for the company to pursue in order to meet its revenue goals.

This person should have prior experience working in the Contruction or Government industries 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the President in developing and managing marketing and business development strategies and, specifically, the formal Marketing Plan and associated marketing budget
  • Assists in developing Powerpoint presentations targeted toward specific markets for presentation to Prospects and Clients
  • Assists with the marketing aspects of the Company's formal project-specific proposal and general corporate qualifications submissions
  • Provides input regarding target markets to identify trade shows, associations, publications, sponsorships, and other venues to use for marketing purposes
  • Manage all marketing related activities to promote visibility including but not limited to press releases, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, special events and construction award entries. Also includes annual company holiday party
  • Develops and maintains the Company's software database system for client/prospect lead and opportunity tracking
  • All other marketing aspects of the position

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree, preferably in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent industry experience

REQUIRED: At least 3 years of direct business experience with meeting measurable goals
Experience within the construction or government industries
Experience with desktop publishing software
Knowledge of social media applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication, time management, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
