Job Description

Our Client in the Saline area is seeking a Test Technician for an immediate Temp to Hire opportunity. The Technician must be able to troubleshoot at the component level and repair electronics assemblies as well as work with hand tools, follow procedures, and read assembly drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating, troubleshooting and setup, for testing electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies, components, systems, units, and parts, according to established procedures.
• Tests electronic products, components, and systems for functional and visual acceptance.
• Assists test operators with testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in an effort to further develop their skills.
• Collects diagnostic information needed to improve manufacturing processes, identify component failures, or design faults.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in an electrical/electronic discipline, or comparable experience.
• Computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of various electronic test equipment, such as DMM, oscilloscope, and power supplies.
