Admin Assistant - Torrance, California On site - Pay is 64K or $25 to $33 an hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Support various departments within the organization under supervision, ensuring smooth office operations. Duties include administrative tasks, event support, project management, and maintaining supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Participate in agency committees and event planning.
Update and format training material and other agency-wide documents.
Schedule meetings, draft agendas, and manage follow-ups.
Conduct research and report findings to department managers.
Maintain filing systems and answer phones.
Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance.
Support special projects across departments.
Serve as backup for Client Services Department.
Assist with clerical duties and mail processing.
Maintain confidentiality of agency information.
Assist with event planning and employee engagement initiatives.
Travel to off-site locations as needed.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Strong administrative and writing skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Minimum 2 years of scheduling experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Gmail.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Experience in event planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A.A./A.S. degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
2 years of non-profit organization experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
Proven problem-solving ability and initiative.
Credibility, integrity, and emotional maturity.
