Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's day-to-day operations and administrative functions. Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the executive team and other staff members, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal and external communications, including emails, letters, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of special events, meetings, and fundraisers.
  • Handle general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a non-profit organization or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
