Job Description

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing personalized insurance solutions to individual clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, policies are accurately maintained, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual insurance clients.
Understand client insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, policy updates, and claims assistance.
Policy Management:

Manage and update personal insurance policies accurately and efficiently.
Review policy coverage to ensure it aligns with clients' needs and preferences.
Assist clients in understanding policy terms, coverage options, and deductibles.
Renewals and New Business:

Facilitate the renewal process for existing clients, including reviewing policy terms and making adjustments as needed.
Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional insurance products.
Assist in generating new business through referrals and networking efforts.
Claims Assistance:

Coordinate with clients and insurance carriers to process and manage claims promptly.
Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process.
Work closely with claims adjusters to ensure timely resolution of claims.
Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Stay informed about changes in insurance laws and regulations that may affect clients.
Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to provide comprehensive insurance solutions.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in personal insurance or account management role preferred.
Strong understanding of personal insurance products and coverages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CISR, CPIA) a plus.
